Project Overview
Engaged by The City of Armadale, Kilmore Group managed the refurbishment of the Champion Lakes Community Centre to update the amenities and make the space compliant for ambulant use. This involved demolition and new interior fit-out to the communal spaces and bathrooms, as well as upgrades to the decking and roofing.
Works included:
- demolition
- construction of new walls and internal fit-out to create a common space, new UAT and two new WC’s
- replacement of the existing deck with new structural supports and decking
- installation of structural support and electric awnings
- new mechanical and hydraulic package
- finishes including new Polyvinyl flooring
- roof realignment and new gutters
- installation of ambulant items including handrails, tactiles and nosings to meet Australian standards AS1428.1.
