Project Overview
Kilmore Group managed the surf club refurbishment which was focused on accessibility, functionality, and capacity upgrades. This included a new lift, universal access toilets, redeveloped changerooms and members function room. The upgraded space features new furnishings and improved accessibility, ensuring the facility can better accommodate the current and future community members.
Kilmore Group was engaged to deliver the refurbishment of the surf club, which was focused on improving the inclusivity and accessibility of the space.
Supported through the State Government’s Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund and Lotterywest, the facility upgrades were delivered for the Town of Cambridge.
Works included:
- New passenger lift, entrance canopy and DDA-compliant lobby
- Redevelopment of changerooms, toilets and Universal Accessible amenities
- Structural extension of the members room and roofing
- Redeveloped kitchen, bar and members room fitout
- Upgraded electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and building management systems
- Hard and soft landscaping.
