Project Overview
Kilmore Group have been engaged to deliver Air-Conditioning upgrades and associated construction work at the heritage listed Perth Institute of Contemporary Art (PICA). The scope of works includes demolition, carpentry, plastering, structural steelwork, ceiling and roof works, painting, fire detection system works, electrical, mechanical works and HVAC.
The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is housed in the heritage-listed building that was formerly the Perth Boys’ and Girls’ School. The building, built in 1897, was an education hub for many years before being reopened as a space for contemporary art, music, dance and performance.
As part of the ongoing maintenance and upgrades to this heritage building, upgrades to the air-conditioning and associated construction work are required.
