130 Stirling Street Façade Upgrade
Kilmore Group has recently completed façade system remedial works for 130 Stirling Street located in the CBD. This project involved the removal and replacement of non-compliant aluminium composite panels (ACPs). The building consisted of approximately 2850m2 of ACPs and presented many challenges for our installation team.
50% of the ACPs were replaced with panels that matched the colour scheme of the existing system. While the other half was replaced with a Colourbond material – offering the client significant cost savings.
Systematic design, fabrication and installation have all been pivotal in the successful delivery of this project. Complex scaffolding and cranage setup were among the challenges faced by the team at 130 Stirling Street. These complexities were culminated via a 200 tonne crane lift, closing one of the CBD’s major roads.
A strong focus was also placed on our ability to efficiently manage traffic, building occupants and pedestrian wayfinding throughout the project.
Not only do the assets of our clientel require attention, but all stakeholders too. Kilmore is proud to have been involved in such a project.
